A “multi-site” church is a church that has attempted to deal with church growth and outreach in a different way.
Two traditional ways of addressing church growth are:
• Building a bigger building (Single organization in a single location)
• Creating daughter churches (multiple organizations at multiple locations)
But there are at least two other variations possible:
• Multiple organizations at a single location (“time-share” church)
• Single organization at multiple locations (multi-site church)
